Our Olympic Village
The World Jamboree is often best described as the Scouting Olympics. As a quadrennial, international event, hosted by different member organizations around the world, attended by a select group of representatives from each member organization, it’s easy to see that the Olympics and World Scout Jamboree have a lot in common.
Seasons of Service
In 2001, the United Nations declared September 21 to be an International Day of Peace. To celebrate this year’s Peace Day, we’re looking at the Season of Service, a brand new World Scout Jamboree program.
Service has been an integral part of the Scouting program for each of the 110 years of Scouting history. With roughly 50 million scouts around the world, our potential to effect major positive change is huge.
25th World Scout Jamboree Host Announced
This morning at 4:00 pm (GMT+4) the World Scout Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan voted to award the 25th World Scout Jamboree to the Korea Scout Association (KSA) for the year 2023. This will be the second World Scout Jamboree for the KSA. They also hosted the 17th World Scout Jamboree in 1991.
